These pictures show the difference between amalgam restoration and porcelain/ ceramic onlay restoration. Onlays are made of porcelain/ceramic material. They are made in the lab and will require a return visit to cement permanent restoration. |

Veneer restorations are porcelain/ceramic restoration made in the lab. They are ideal for patients who are interested in a smile makeover. As well as for patients with small teeth, big or uneven tooth surfaces. Veneers are also ideal solution to chipped and crooked teeth. |

BridgesBridges are placed when there are one or more teeth missing and the objective is to stabilize the bite, prevent the adjacent teeth from tilting, and the opposing teeth from dropping down into the space that has been lost. |

Partial Dentures If there are a few teeth left, then it is referred to as a partial denture. This will either have acrylic base holding it in place, or it will have metal clasps to secure it to the adjacent teeth. |
